Etude des aspects épidémiocliniques du néphroblastome dans le service de pédiatrie du CHU Gabriel Touré

We did a prospective study on 25 infants with in 6 months to 15 years old, and who were infected by néphroblastom. We observed that the female were little bit more infected (56 p.100 ) than male. The mean age was 45 months. The left kidney was more infected than the right one (52 p.100 versus 44 p.100 ). The most presents symptoms were abdominal mass 92 p.100, general disorder 76 p.100 and 52 p.100 of our patients had cancer metastasis. Vincristin and Actinomycin - D were the mostly used antimitotics. About the treatment we got 40 p.100 of total recovery ; 48 p.100 of death, and no case of refinfectin. The total percentage of survive was about 44 p.100 . We conclude that Nephroblastom is a tumor with good prognostic but to get this good prognostic we need multi discipline collaboration.
